Today I listened to residents in the city who were concerned by the 20mph zones that had brought the city to a standstill. Also, the cycle lane on the Northam bridge that was described as "ridiculous". My plan is to ensure that no ULEZ is brought to the city by the council, and that residents get a chance to be consulted before low traffic neighbourhoods are forced on them by the council.
In my view, the residents of the city should be able to have more say on how the labour run council decides to run the city.
