Earlier this afternoon I attended a question and answer session with students and teachers at Itchen Sixth Form College. After a brief introduction I was asked questions about various topics; including:
- how will I tackle the mental health crisis,
- how are you different from the other candidates,
- how will I support state schools and increase teacher salaries,
- what are my plans for the environment,
- what will I do specifically to take Southampton from the "championship back to the premier league",
- what will I do to raise moral and tackle homelessness,
- what three words sum up how you will help the city?
I summed up saying I wanted to be known for LISTENING. HOPE and CHANGE.
