Today I walked around Dimond Road and other parts of Bitterne Park and was appalled by reports of domestic violence.
Tackling crime is my top priority. I also want to prioritise the safety of women and girls.
Today I met a lady who told me that she had suffered domestic abuse and the Labour council has not helped her. I told her to contact my offfice so that I can take action.
It is totally unacceptable that people should feel unsafe in Southampton, especially in their own homes.
If I’m elected, I will fight to make sure that domestic violence is tackled and people can feel safe in their own homes.
