Today I listened to residents in Woolston who congratulated me for the Conservatives winning a council seat from Labour in the elections a few weeks ago. Councillor Rob Stead is now representing the ward of Woolston and the reaction on the doorstep was extremey positive. One resident on Newtown Road said, "Sidney, you're a breath of fresh air, and it's good to have Rob win a seat on the council."
I also received warm congratulations when I popped into The Gardeners Arms later in the evening.
