Today the Prime Minister will host small businesses at Downing Street in a panel event, as we get ready to launch our small business council next month. Because we stuck to the plan to halve inflation by the end of 2023, we were able to cut business rates for smaller businesses, saving the average shop £1,650, supporting our highstreets and strengthening local economies.
I support local businesses in Southampton Itchen and will advocate for SMEs to the small business council.
