Today I was joined by councillors to listen to residents in Sholing and Bitterne Park. Lots of younger residents are keen to start working in higher paid jobs, which I am happy to help create. The Conservatives are creating more apprenticeships to help the young. When I visited the port of Southampton a couple of months ago, I discussed my vision of creating 3,000 new high quality jobs.
If we manage to do that, we can support the economy and generate the taxes we need to pay our nurses, doctors and teachers what they deserve for their hard work. Prosperity for all.
