Today I listened to terrible stories from residents who have black mould in their council houses. In one case, the mother is pregnant and the council officer visiting did not give the family the service they need. Black mould is a danger to health and must be treated. In the interim, council residents cannot be left in damp, mouldy homes with no reasonable response from the council. I think more should be done to help residents deal with this issue.
