Today on the eve of poll I canvassed in Sholing. Most residents were concerned with the high levels of crime in the city. They were pleased to hear that I am planning lots of initiatives with Donna Jones, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire, if elected. They were also pleased that I was still the only candidate that had taken the trouble to knock on their door.
In my view public servants should do what it says on the tin and serve the public.
It has been amazing to listen to thousands of local residents over the last few months. I have been humbled by the good wishes and numerous cups of tea residents have offered me on the campaign trail.
It has been great that so many people have shared their stories with me and I look forward to helping on casework if elected.
Served our country. Serving Southampton. Serving you.
