This evening I was selected as Prospective Parliamentary Candidate to represent Southampton Itchen. As I said to the Lord Mayor of Southampton and the other members of the local association in my speech, I am humbled and proud to have been selected to represent the residents of Southampton Itchen. Royston Smith MP has dedicated his time in office to helping the people of Southampton. If selected, I will aim to continue his good work and serve the people of Southampton by listening to what you want and then working hard to get stuff done.
As a barrister I am used to listening to my clients and fighting for their rights. As your MP, I will do the same thing.
I look forward to meeting you all on the doorstep. I walk around the constituency frequently, meeting residents and listening to how I can help to make your lives better.
I want to bring us all together and strive to help "Team Southampton Itchen" progress and achieve our full potential.
